De Digitus modulaire KVM consoles zijn zeer flexibel en geheel naar eigen wens in te richten en eenvoudig uit te breiden met extra functionaliteit zoals extra poorten, remote IP access of een andere toetsenbord taal. Door de modulaire opbouw is het eenvoudig om op een later moment functionaliteit aan de KVM toe te voegen. Consoles worden compleet als systeem geleverd of kunnen naar wens in delen worden samengesteld.

Het basis systeem is opgebouwd uit een basis beeldscherm console met 17† of 19† inch beeldscherm. Als toetsenbord kan gekozen worden voor: US international keyboard (Nederland), Azerty keyboard (Frankrijk Belgie) of een van de andere talen: UK, Germany, Swiss, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Turkish.

Als KVM module kan worden gekozen voor een KVM met PS/USB en VGA aansluiting of voor een KVM met Cat5e dongles waarbij het USB/PS2/VGA signaal over CAT5e,6,6A,7 kabels word verstuurd over een lengte van max. 60m. De KVM modules zijn verkrijgbaar in 1, 8 en 16 poort uitvoeringen. Na de initiële installatie meer poorten gewenst zijn kan eenvoudig een extra KVM module in cascade worden geschakeld. Maximaal 256 computers zijn op een console aan te sluiten.

Standaard worden bij de KVM console de KVM kabels (1.8m) en/of de Cat5 dongles meegeleverd. Optioneel zijn extra KVM kabels (lengtes: 1.8, 3, 5m) of extra dongles verkrijgbaar.

De KVM modules kunnen met een optionele IP module op afstand worden benaderd en bediend. De remote access ondersteund multiple browser applicaties: Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Mozilla, Netscape, etc

De KVM modules zijn hot plugable voor het aan en afsluiten van extra apparatuur. Extra KVM modules kunnen in cascade worden aangesloten om zo tot max. 256 servers/computers uit te breiden.

Een console is te monteren in cabinet, patchkast of serverrack vanaf 800mm diep.

As a result, the console is economical and can be upgraded and/or converted at any time with further modules. Due to the flexible configuration, a high level of future security of the console is thus guaranteed. The modular KVM switch offers the connection of a server via USB or PS/2, as well as VGA. The DIGITUS ® 17? oder 19? modular console, a keyboard and the appropriate set of cables are required for operation. The high quality KVM switch modules with IP function (optional) are ideal for use in small to mid-sized server rooms in which access by the administrator must be guaranteed from any place at any time. They offer a direct connection from a local console or with the optional IP module with a browser via an existing internet connection. The accessories are offered in the most diverse versions.
